It's frightening how many people are condoning the blatant murder of the 4 accused rapists/murderers by our authorities. As much as our lizard brains may relish the fact that they were erased from this Earth, it is crucial to understand how damaging this is our country's moral fabric. We are already well on our way to fascism and incidents like this are only hastening the process. We may rejoice now when our leaders and government circumvent due process in our favour, but what happens when they use it against us later? History has shown us countless times what a slippery slope this is but we are clearly not interested in heeding any of its lessons.

I can't think of a better way to end this little rant than with Martin Niemöller's post-war confession...
